The MyDoom virus is a worm that infects your email account and it spreads itself via e-mail and the Kazaa P2P file sharing network. It is also known as [email protected], Novarg, Mimail.R and Shimgapi. The malware infects your email and Windows operating system and it affects them in a couple of ways.
You may come in contact with the virus accidentally, as it masks itself as a transmission error email, whose subject lines might include words such as "Error", "Mail Delivery System", "Test" or "Mail Transaction Failed". The email also contains an attachment that, if executed, will trigger the virus, which will start sending the same infected email to your contact list.
This is only the first part of the infection, as the second one affects your computer by attaching remote control options to the 3127/tcp port, thus creating backdoor opportunities. Furthermore, it will launch DOS(denial of service) attacks against a targeted website. The virus also blocks any access to Microsoft websites and popular online antiviruses, thus rendering futile any attempt to update your current antivirus software.
W32.Mydoom.A Cleaning Utility Crack is a handy command line application that allows you to clean your computer from the MyDoom virus. The program will scan all the drives and files from your computer, after which it will fix any registry keys affected by the virus, if it shows up in the scan results. Any data files dropped by the worm will be removed, keeping you secured from a possible reinfection.
The application helps you keep your computer secure, by scanning your machine for traces of the MyDoom virus. in case it finds any, W32.Mydoom.A Cleaning Utility will attempt to repair any damage done by the malware.
NOTE: Certain files may be renamed by the cleaning utility. In addition, files may be "locked" by Windows and a reboot may be required to completely clean the system. To prevent data loss, all applications should be closed before running the utility.
